Michael has been a soft tissue therapist since 1995. Michael brings in a wealth of experience and knowledge to the clinic, utilising his observational skills and clinical reasoning to alleviate a wide variety of acute and chronic complaints. Michael was a past VFL umpire and long distance runner.
Karen has been a soft tissue therapist since 1998. She specialises in Bowen therapy, utilising her tactile skills to alleviate a wide variety of acute and chronic complaints. The most appealing aspect of Bowen Therapy for Karen is its gentleness combined with the amazing ability of this modality to assist the body to heal itself. Bowen therapy is safe to use on all ages, from newborns to the elderly.
Karen has also been a Bowtech Instructor since 2000 and along with Michael has played a vital role in the National Accreditation of the Bowen Therapy training. She is a highly experienced trainer of Bowen Therapy and The Bowen Technique delivering Bowen Courses around Australia.
Craig has been a soft tissue therapist since 1999. He can alleviate a wide variety of acute and chronic complaints using his Onsen Technique training (Muscle Energy Technique). Craig is interested in fascia, attending workshops on Granter Myofascial Dysfunction techniques.
Craig is also a teacher at Border College of Natural Therapies, training students in remedial massage and Myotherapy.
Bec’s background is in the financial services industry, but her real passion is in health and well-being. Wanting a change in career after starting a family, she opened the Albury Float Room in December 2014. She is so excited to be offering this kind of treatment on the Border.
Bec was first introduced to float tanks by her sister and brother in law. About 6 months ago her sister suggested and encouraged her to start a float room in Albury. The float room has already had a number of clients through the doors and has seen some amazing transformations. Clients are floating regularly for a range of conditions or pure relaxation.
Bec has also recently undertaken relaxation massage training and will further develop this and train further in this area, learning new skills and techniques.
Amber has been a soft tissue therapist since 2003. Amber can alleviate wide variety of acute and chronic complaints. Her interests include therapeutic massage and Myofascial release were her tactile skills are used to unwind muscle tension and calm you down.
Glen has been a Remedial Therapist since 2001, initially undertaking studies in Sydney. He joins the Wodonga team in 2012. Glen’s main focus is on managing acute and chronic pain. Furthermore, his passion for travelling allowed him to undertake the role as head therapist on board the Queen Mary 2 for three years. Glen specialises in sports injury management and prevention. He applies a variety of techniques namely myofascial release, trigger point therapy and cross fibre massage. Glen has always had interest in the biomechanics of the body.
Cindy has been a soft tissue therapist since 2006 and after 10 years of experience completed her Diploma in Remedial Massage in 2016.
Cindy is passionate in assisting people achieve their full potential in health and wellbeing alleviating pain and dysfunction within the body. She is also a Sports Trainer and provides massage and strapping at the Dederang-Mt Beauty Football/Netball Club.
Her techniques include deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, joint mobilisation, cupping, rock tape, rigid taping and hot stones as part of her remedial treatments.
With her friendly and caring personality she is always striving to meet the goals of her clients.
Heather’s journey with Bowen Therapy began over a decade ago, when she turned to Bowen Therapy for an ongoing knee issue. After having an immediate improvement, Heather became a keen advocate for Bowen. A few years later a friend suggested studying Bowen, and the rest is history!
Heather has such a fascination with the human body, and wants to help educate others about how amazing their minds and bodies can be.
Portia has been a Holistic Counsellor over the last 10 years after completing an Advanced Diploma in Holistic Counselling. She has a background as a Registered Nurse and is a Credentialed Mental Health Clinician. Portia has worked in various settings including as a student counsellor at Riverina TAFE and at Daintree Medical Centre as a counsellor and mental health clinician.
No matter what the challenge is Portia believes working collaboratively towards new perspectives, awareness and balance will bring about positive changes towards wholeness.
As a Medicare provider, Portia can see clients with Mental Health Plans from GP’s and NDIS providers. She is also a member of AHPRA, Australian College of Mental Health and the Australian Counselling Association.
Heidi knows and appreciates the benefits of using Kinesiology from her own personal journey. Because of this she learnt Touch for Health Kinesiology 5 years ago, allowing her to pass on the benefits to others.
Over 2016-2017, Heidi has undertaken higher qualifications to gain her International Certificate in Professional Kinesiology Practice to learn more extensive techniques to facilitate your desired outcome.

Rebecca is focused on providing personalised, tailored plans centred on beneficial lifestyle and nutritional additions to enhance vitality, health and wellbeing. Her treatments focus on evidence based medicine that is established through scientific research studies and peer reviewed journals.
Rebecca believes through diet we can improve our health through the essential vitamins and nutrients contained within food. She also offers testing for health conditions and nutritional supplements to further enhance and support your nutrition journey. She has a genuine passion for helping people and her specialised area of interest is in weight loss and mental health. Hippocrates, widely considered the father of medicine quoted ‘let thy food be thy medicine and let thy medicine be thy food’. Rebecca’s practice is based upon using food as medicine.
