About
Steven is a fully qualified and registered acupuncturist and herbalist with AHPRA in all 3 divisions of Chinese Medicine; acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine practitioner and Chinese herbal dispenser. He also maintains professional membership with AACMA, the peak national acupuncture and Chinese Medicine association in Australia.
In clinic, Steven employs a holistic and comprehensive approach incorporating various acupuncture techniques, herbal medicines, Gua Sha, cupping, nutritional guidance, Qigong (therapeutic movement, meditation and specific breathing methods) and corrective exercise. The types of methods utilised is tailored to each clients particular condition, unique presentation and circumstances. This may vary from one precisely placed acupuncture needle to a much more complex multi-modality treatment program.
Clinical areas of interest include chronic pain, women’s health, stress management and sports injuries.
Outside of clinical practice, Steven’s interests include martial arts, playing guitar, reading, and bushwalking.
