Portia has been a Holistic Counsellor over the last 10 years after completing an Advanced Diploma in Holistic Counselling. She has a background as a Registered Nurse and is a Credentialed Mental Health Clinician. Portia has worked in various settings including as a student counsellor at Riverina TAFE and at Daintree Medical Centre as a counsellor and mental health clinician.
No matter what the challenge is Portia believes working collaboratively towards new perspectives, awareness and balance will bring about positive changes towards wholeness.
As a Medicare provider, Portia can see clients with Mental Health Plans from GP’s and NDIS providers. She is also a member of AHPRA, Australian College of Mental Health and the Australian Counselling Association.
